Pepperoni/Veggie Pizza

We have enjoyed this recipe a number of times and will continue to do so. Easy, quick and SCRUMPTIOUS!!

Here's the recipe:


3 1/2 C pizza dough
2 1/2 tsp instant yeast
1 C water
3/4 can pizza sauce
1 regular sized onion
2 bell peppers: one red, one green
1/3 C sliced olives
4 oz. jar of artichoke hearts
2 minced garlics
1 - 2 C sliced mushrooms
8 thin sliced pepperoni slices
2 C shredded mozzerela


Mix the flour and yeast, add water, mix and let rise for an hour.

Saute the onions, peppers, mushrooms and garlic.

When the dough was risen I spread it over an oven stone, poured the pizza sauce over and spread it to the edges. Spread a layer of cheese; then added the sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms and garlic; spread another layer of cheese, then the artichokes and pepperoni slices; and followed by another layer of cheese across the top.

Pop into the oven at 425 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.
